I put a deposit down on a Honda Grom. I'll leave it out at the race track and use it to get around for on-site errands and whatnot.
I've been bike-less for about 2 years and I kinda miss having one.

yeah! cool little bike. a coworker turned me onto it. she also put a deposit down. are you getting it for sticker, or is the dealer hiking the price up due to demand?
i'm keeping this bike in my back pocket if i decide to take the tw0-wheel plunge...

For added awesome 'grom' means thunder in Polish.

I saw one of these on the HOV lane south out of DC a few months ago. I thought the dude was huge as I closed in on him (I was closing in fast) Nope, it wasn't a big rider.
It was the: Cutest. Bike. Ever.
Speed limit on those lanes is 65, I was at 75-80, so I didn't get a good look - all I noticed was the Honda on the tank and I went by. As soon I got home I looked it up and discovered the Grom.
I was impressed that he was able to do 65 with a 125cc bike.

I'm going to have to ferry it to the track on a weekend or something. From the dealership out to the track is a toll road w/ an 80 mph speed limit. I drive that road every day and it's not filled w/ homicidal maniacs like all the roads in Dallas were. However, I also don't want to be 15-20 mph slower than everybody else in heavy traffic.

ah, good.
and, the Grom is small but do you think it'll fit in the back of your M-coupe?
